Preparing for Your First Session

Your first yoni massage session might feel like uncharted territory

If you are unsure about what to expect, then that is totally normal. Here is everything you need to know to prepare.

Remember: this is your session and you are in control. We will discuss your needs, preferences and boundaries before we begin, and it is you who calls the shots.

1 Before Booking

Ask Questions First

Firstly, you need to be comfortable. So if you have any concerns or questions, it's advisable to ask even before booking. This includes mentioning any boundaries, desires or preferences. If you have any allergies, injuries or health issues you should mention these too. This is your session and it helps if you are informed and feel in control from the start.

This is your session. We will discuss your needs, preferences and boundaries before we begin, and it is you who calls the shots. Yoni massage provides a safe space for you to explore your comfort zones and feel comfortable about saying what feels right or wrong for you.

2 On The Day

Give Yourself Time

Make sure you prepare in advance and give yourself plenty of time, so that you don't need to rush. You'll feel better and more relaxed if you're not hurrying.

Freshen Up

You'll feel more comfortable and relaxed if you have a shower beforehand.

Eat Light

If you are having a meal before your session, it's best to eat light rather than a heavy meal.

Wear Comfortable Clothing

While you can wear whatever you prefer, loose clothing that is easy to slip in and out of is ideal.

Avoid Stimulants

To get the most of your session, it is best to refrain from stimulants such as alcohol or drugs prior to it as this can impact your capacity to be present with all the sensations that you could otherwise experience. I would also invite you to come with a curious mind and a heart that is open to the magic that can happen.

3 After Your Session

Sharing Your Experience

Right after your session, we can dedicate some time to share about your experience if you feel comfortable to do so.

  • If possible, try to take the rest of the day for yourself
  • Avoid stressful interactions or heavy tasks if you can
  • Stay hydrated throughout the day
  • Spend time in nature or in a peaceful setting if possible
  • Allow yourself time to integrate the experience

The Healing Continues

The healing effects of the massage can resonate within you for some time, and you may also experience wonderful sensations or emotional shifts in the days to come. This is completely normal and part of the journey.
